All the staff, from check in and out, to the 3 gals bartending, 1 in the main dining room, and 2 in the little lounge, were very friendly, great service, and most importantly sweet with our dog. We enjoyed the rib eye sandwich. The bed was very comfortable. Even people staying at the resort were awesome. It is such a nice get away from Las Vegas. All in all a great experience.

The best part of our visit to the Retreat at Mt. Charleston was a young man named Chuba at the front desk. He was friendly and helpful and mentioned that there were a lot of plans in the works to improve the retreat...we might give it another shot in the future. The pictures of the retreat were misleading about the amenities. Overall, it was okay.

Me and my husband enjoyed staying at the retreat on Charleston peak. It's very peaceful. The room was very clean and there's a fridge and complimentary coffee in the room. We did find a few spiders in our bed and the fan in the bathroom was extremely loud some things in the bathroom could use some updating, but overall it was good. We will return.

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and accommodating. The room was dated but is very clean and cozy. The property was nice and clean. The restaurant food was very good. The quality is much better than we expected. My only complaint was the a/c. It’s either dying or just not blowing cold air. Our room was warm most of the time even though we had the thermostat at 62F.

We stayed in a room on the upper floor with an outdoor balcony as we requested. We liked our room and enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. We enjoyed the view of the mountains from the room's balcony, The lodge includes a restaurant and a separate bar. The cook for the restaurant was exceptional for the crab cake special dinner, and for the breakfast omelette, especially the gourmet mini round potatoes. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful.
