After a lengthy check in (yes I get it, it was a Memorial day weekend) I was greeted by a family of ticks in the bathroom. Got in the tub to wash my feet after a long hike and come to find out the tub drainage was clogged with gross group of hairs and wont even drain. I thought the hairs were going to come out and attack me like the scene from the movie “It”. I was pretty grossed out by the standing water. I checked out right away and told the issues to the person at the front desk and they said “Okay have a good day”. By the way I am a minority. Wow! You can literally find a better and cleaner campground to spend the night than this garbage ass motel. Please for your sake, do not waste your money on this business.

Wonder place to stay, it needs some remodeling improvement and wifi was horrible. Overall, amazing view of the mountains ⛰️ hiking stop just right out your doors.

The property is quite literally a retreat it’s located about 1 hour to 45 minutes away from the Vegas strip and is in a very peaceful location away from the city

This hotel is beautiful, with wood beams, high ceilings in lo by. Has it's own restaurant with good food. And beautiful wood bar. Itvalso has a 24 hr cafe and a second bar outside yhe restaurant. The veiw of the mountains is lovely. Only issues i found is no elevator so have to carry lugage up large stairway. Also the heater/air conditioner was very liud, i guess the fan, so we turned it off. Food at the restuarant was delicious.

This property is perfect except for 1 thing- we were there for 3 night and never had housekeeping! We had to get our own towels, request coffee pods and garbage bags. Never found the ice machine. The staff at the hotel and restaurant are awesome, and the views of the mountain are beautiful

Beautiful area if you want peace and quiet. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The furniture in the room is a little outdated, but we loved the lobby and being g able to eat at the outside tables with beautiful mountain views. Wild horses outside the property. Will stay here again. By the way be prepared that the temp here is about 30 degrees colder than in downtown las vegas.

It is a beautiful location convenient for hiking trails and the visitor's center. According to signage, updates are underway—they are needed. The place's stair treading is worn, and there is no elevator; this is important. The dining hall food was great! It's waitstaff was excellent. However, the menus and hours of operation were a little confusing. We will be back.

My room was filthy! No water pressure. It was loud and just gross. I understand it’s an older building but come on! Hair, mold and still toothpaste from the previous person was still on the sink.

Everything was excellent, the staff was great! We will definitely be staying again!! The only improvement that needs to be addressed are the huge potholes on the entry/exit area to the property. Luckily we saw them but others may not.

Lovely area and property. The hotel is a bit worn but they are doing some renovations. Hotel staff very helpful. Great restaurant that was very accomodating to special requests.

Jolie hôtel d’extérieur avec vue sur les montagnes. Décoration charmante. Restaurant ferme tôt : 20h. Point faible : mal insonorisé dans les chambres avec grosse perdition de chaleur ! Nous avons eu froid la nuit (températures extérieures négatives). Emplacement entre Vegas et Death Valley ideal.

This place has seen better days. This place is good if you just need a place to crash for the night, but as a destination for enjoyment or relaxing, don't do it. We thought the place was abandon when we first pulled up. My biggest issue was no HOT water in the shower or sink... at times you might get lucky and get some hot water for a shower, but others in our party had to take a cold shower... which is no fun! The bar was cool and poured a nice drink for a great price! We stayed here after skiing at Lee Canyon Resort, easy drive if there is no snow on the ground.

The sofa bed and additional couches in the room were not clean. The sofa bed, was like lumpy rocks…designed by cavemen. Overpriced. I’ve stayed in more modern, clean and sophisticated places at better pricing.

We unfortunately got a family next door with very noisy kids that you could here through the walls all night long. then at 6am the people above us were up and seem to be rearranging furniture and being very loud as well. place was good for price but a bit outdated.

My stay at The Retreat on Charleston Peak was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time staying there, and I instantly fell in love with the place. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience, providing excellent service at every turn. I felt genuinely welcomed and embraced by the warm hospitality throughout my stay. I would easily give them 5 stars for their exceptional service and the overall delightful atmosphere they created. It was truly a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Steps to upper floors have prodruding pieces of non skid that are potential trip hazards. Sinks are too low in rooms. Pretty views from property. Quiet in our 3rd floor room even when hotel was full. Do not like Apple TV.

like the surroundings and quietness, good place to do hiking, scenery. did not like the fact that there is no elevator, and this is a 3-story place so inconvenient for elderly people or for anyone trying to move the luggage around. in addition, there is only one restaurant with limited menu choices.

great place to stay for skiing or just a nice nature retreat! the staff was wonderful, especially matthew! the bar & bar tender were great too... and don't forget to get a meal at the canyon restaurant onsite, really good food & service. we had a blast at the resort! it would be nice if they had a couple of jacuzzi's onsite, but maybe next year, lol. thanks for the hospitality!

My family stayed here for the weekend and the rooms were ok. They seem pretty outdated and we couldn’t use the tv because there was no Apple TV remote. The shower took ages to warm up and our night stand was sticky. We chose to eat at the buffet they had set out and it was not great. The food was already cold and the buns for the burgers and the pasta was already hard from sitting out. It was unfortunate because we had AMAZING food here before. But of all this we can always say the staff is amazing. Always super nice, respectful, and will help you with anything you need. They were short staffed while we were here so we didn’t really have a qualms besides the food quality and a sticky night stand. For the price and the awesome staff we would stay again.
