"Somehow I got lucky when I stumbled across Playa Bonita. I switched to this hotel after a terrible stay at the grandmare just a few hotels up the way which was three times the price of Playa Bonita. This place was such a breath of fresh air. The rooms were big, the staff was very friendly, the pool was clean, and the best part of all--- the beach was a beach. "This is for those of you with insight. This hotel is expensive when compared to other hotels in the area. From the pictures you expect a nice place, but think again. The hotel is old, the mattresses are as stiff as a rock, everything is from the 80s, and not taken care of. The place was dirty, the food was expensive and not that great, the service was abhorrent.
