Hotel Villa del Sol

"This was my second time staying at Hotel Villa Del Sol, and it holds a place special in my heart. My only complaint would be that the pool should stay open at least until 9, and that I was out at the pool alone playing my music, and was reprimanded by a staff member that music wasnโt allowed, because they play their own music (they were not playing music at that time btw) and that I should read the signs on the wall. There was no sign on the wall stating that music cannot be played. Anyways I still love Hotel Villa Del Sol, but figured in loving it should still give constructive criticism."

"The on-site restaurant food & drinks were amazing! The food was very fresh, hot, tasty and made to order. Their Aurora drink ๐ธ ๐. The staff (server & cheff) were excellent. At breakfast time, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place and thanks to Franco, the maneger, who took the time to talk to my mother and I. He was very polite and professional."

"The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed that the pool had a swim up bar. I also think that the hotelโs proximity to different attractions was ideal. We were literally within walking distance to the beach and a 10 minute drive to Old San Juan, La Placcita, and Condado."

"What I liked about the properties that the room was very clean. The staff was attentive and the breakfast was right downstairs in a brand new restaurant. I didnโt have to take the airport shuttle because I rented the car, but if you wanted to take an airport shuttle the hotels, conveniently located 10 minutes away from the airport. I did appreciate the walking availability to local stores eateries and to a nice beach where you could suntan and swim in the ocean at your leisure, I did appreciate that the swimming pool had a kids section as I did bring my infant with me and it had a Jacuzzi and it was very clean and maintained my room was always clean upon return from my daily activity with new towels and Little knickknacks that I would say weโre very useful especially because of the mosquitoes overall the state was great. The restaurant downstairs is currently getting renovated so they do have food, but the choices are limited, and I was a little sad that the pizza that was on the menu had disappeared."

"Just as described, felt like I was living as a local. Having 2 bedrooms was very nice. However, we stayed in apartment A and the AC in the bedroom I was in was not working. It did get a little warm but i just didn't use any blankets. I loved the stove. It worked very well and it was great for making our breakfast in the morning. The refrigerator was great to have for our food and drinks, and the microwave was useful. No toaster but the nonstick pan was good to warm up the bread and it did get a little toasted too. All I was missing was a blender which would have been perfect but maybe next time they will have one. We were concerned about the water shortage but we did have water on the premises and had no trouble with showering. The beach was about a 5 minute walk away which was great for cooling off from the heat and they do leave towels for the beach. There are waves and depending on high tide or weather disruptions they can be rough. There are restaurants within walking distance of the property and all along the calle isla verde street, but you need to drive down for more variety. It's a 15 to 20 minute drive to the airport which is convenient and the route 26 expressway is just around the corner. The TV in the living room area was not always working though which was inconvenient and it appears that it's streaming service only like Netflix. They do provide a passcode but it was hard to find programming to watch. Not fancy but safe& clean. I would stay here again. Thanks"
