"We stayed at this hotel for three nights and it was an amazing stay. The check in was smooth and quick. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable with two types of pillows for your preference. They have 24/7 room service which is perfect if you are jet lag and get hungry in the middle of the night or didn’t eat enough during the day. The washroom was spacious, well stocked, and very clean. "Great place, great staff, great stay. The place has profile to the locals so be aware of that should the subject come up when out and about for negotiation purposes. Another review said its showing some minor signs of age which is true but I found my room in great condition. They're always doing maintenance and run a tight ship from what I can tell. I will stay again on my next visit to Laos!"

"Spacious room, excellent breakfast. We loved our stay at Lao Orchid. By far the nicest of the hotels we have stayed at on this trip in Bangkok, Aytthaya, Vientiane and Luang Prabang. Rooms were clean, staff spoke English at least moderately. The Night Market is just across the street and there are a lot of great restaurants in easy walking distance (525 I'm looking at you). Overall a wonderful stay. You can tell we are very pleased :-)"
