"L'hôtel est bien situé, son accès est très facile depuis la gare de Lao Caí ou depuis la station de bus de Sao Viet. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les prestations annoncées semblent prometteuses. Malheureusement nous sommes venus pendant la période creuse (juillet) et tout était fermé. Nous avons tout de même passé un agréable séjour puis que nous étions les seuls clients de l'hôtel. La personne à l'accueil a été très serviable et attentionnée."

"At check in, they kept insisting we have not paid for our room!, we had to show her our cc statement that it’s paid for. They won’t give us a room with a view, even though we were the only people staying there. We had to keep our curtains closed throughout as it was directly to an open top of the next building. At checkout, we were asked to pay for our room again! On our insistence, they let us go, as I said’ we paid for our room when we booked! Nice hotel, but the insisting that we have not...

"DO NOT STAY HERE. We were hoping for a resort-style place to unwind for a day before we travelled to Sapa. We arrived at 6am hoping for an early check-in. We paid NZD90 for a night and were charged USD80 (NZD120) to check in early. Breakfast was sparse and tastes awful - this place had the worst selection we have encountered so far. The place feels eerie, like you're in a horror movie. Everything smells like cigarette smoke. The only other guests we saw were what looked like Chinese high rollers...

"None of the listed amenities actually exist. No pool. No spa. Horrible location way out on the edge of town. On the positive side, the girl at the front desk was very helpful. She helped me get a train ticket out of Lao Cai. I was going to stay three nights but left after one. Also the bed was nice and comfortable after a few weeks of hard traveling. Oh, and there was supposed to be a free breakfast but there was no cook so it consisted of a cup of really bad cold coffee. Unless you just...
