"My wife and I stayed one night at the Riverton, WY Holiday Inn, September 9th, 2026 - checking out September 10th. on our way to Grand Teton National Park, from Minnesota. Front Desk Staff were polite, helpful, smiling, and arranged to have our luggage for a 13-day road trip brought to our room, convenient to the lobby.
We usually stay in "higher end" accommodations in our travels, but this location worked out well due to our itinerary. We went to the restaurant at the facility, and walked into a lovely restaurant, with a quiet vibe, extensive menu, superb service, and all tables with starched white tablecloths. My wife started with the lobster bisque. We travel to Maine each year, "famous for lobster dishes," and this bisque was far superior to any lobster items we ever had in Maine. She followed with a Ceasar Salad, and as she put it, "the best she ever had." I ordered the Salmon with a tarragon cream sauce which was as well, the best I ever had!
The following morning at check-out. I mentioned to the staff, that I would love to compliment the entire kitchen staff. The Head Chef came out, first complimenting his kitchen team (great leadership), and appreciative that we enjoyed our dinner. together. We have both travelled extensively, domestically and overseas in our airline careers. Little did we think that at a Holiday in in Riverton, Wyoming, we would have such an incredible dining experience.
