"My apartment was impeccable. The faucets were shining! The bathroom and kitchen were spotless. I was very impressed by the quality of the toiletries (sad that they were fixed in the shower and I couldn't take a bit with me!) and the generosity of the kitchen supplies: plenty of coffee and tea! For a small space it had absolutely everything I could have needed: hair dryer, safe, ironing board, every essential kitchen necessity: colander, cutting knives, measuring cup, tea pot and kettle, toaster...

"Good location for exploring Edinburgh. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Apartment was very nice. Only complaint was the bed which wasn't very comfortable. Mattress could use replacing."

"We attended specifically for the Edinburgh Fringe and the properties location on the Royal Mile was superb for the purpose. The property is lovely and the communications could not have been better. It is harsh to be negative about the property however, on the basis of being even handed, i would say that particularly light sleepers might have struggled as, despite excellent sound proofing, some noise from the street below was inevitable particularly during the fringe. "Don’t let the front entry fool you, this place is beautiful and perfectly located for discovering Edinburgh’s lively historic landmarks. There are several flights of stairs, but is to be expected in this repurposed church building. So worth the climb! There is a fabulous Scottish tour company within footsteps that we used for a day trip to see castles. Beds were comfortable and the 2-full bathrooms were appreciated. Super responsive host with questions regarding luggage storage before and after...

"If you want a step between a hostel and an airb&b this is the perfect choice. Safe and secure and right in the middle of everything you want to get to. This is a private dorm room, and it is a shared bathroom situation, however the room was comfortable and the property managers very responsive. I never had an issue with the shared spaces and felt very safe in the space. Absolutely would book again when I come back to the Fringe Festival. "
