"The staff was excellent but the room, not so great. It was 90 degrees when we stayed and the air conditioner quit. I picked up the phone to dial the front desk and the phone didn't work. My husband had to walk to the front desk to talk to somone and they said they could give us a fan if we wanted and they would let maintenance know. Maintenance arried around 11pm and did fix the issue but it took forever to cool the room enough to sleep. They did what they could I guess but the stay/room was not up to par. It was the king suite room 234, the lobby and breakfast were great but the rooms could use some work. They do have a lot of great amenities but it doesn't off set room conditions. We chose this hotel because it had 9.4 stars but for the price we would not stay here again it certainly was not a 9.4 star room. "

"old property with lots of stairs and one small elevator. parking is way way off site and requires a small minivan to pick you up, which can be challenging if you have a large group or have mobility issues."

"Plan to bring everything you need for your stay - they don’t provide any complimentary items, no coffee packets, no shampoo, no conditioner, no trash bags, no Kleenex, nothing- and be sure to read the fine print as you are required to clean the room before check out or you are charged a huge cleaning fee! However I hope the guest before was charged a cleaning fee because my Luxury room with fireplace, jacuzzi tub, king bed, full kitchen was all a mess! It had not been cleaned or vacuumed before I arrived! I would not recommend staying here! "

"After we waited on line for 30 minutes we finally were able to check in. Went up to our room to find that the bathroom had not been cleaned at all! There was liquids from shampoo/conditioner all over the tub and hair in it. There was a clean towel and bar of soap on the ledge of the tub, so someone had to have been in there! In the room, there was debris all over the floor. I called and they said they would send someone up to clean it. After 30min nobody had been up to clean so I went downstairs and they said they would urgently send someone up. After a few minutes someone did show up and do a complete clean of the room. No apologies from the front desk which really soured our stay. That was the first and the last time we will stay there."
