No fan in the bathroom. Shower faucet was confusing. Not enough pillows. When asked for more towels were told there weren't any. TV options SUCK. Overall bathroom was bad.

I was disappointed with Clear Lake area. After driving down the coast from Washington, I guessed that Clear Lake would be beautiful. You can hardly get to the shore and enjoy the lake. The town of felt unsafe walking around and the beds were terrible. One bed had a hug scoop in the middle. It was marginally clean and I just felt uncomfortable.

What I liked about this property was closeness to family we were visiting. However, the condition of room (dirty; broken floor tiles; open sink drain was gross; broken electrical outlets; and smoke detector missing) and area was noisy with late-night conversations on walkways, will prevent me from booking any future stays at this location.

Bathroom didn’t smell good, I think there was mold, parking is questionable, heard strange toilet flushing sound all night long and don’t even get me started on the noisy refrigerator, the scratchy towels and non lathering soap, all over not my idea of something I will put myself through again! Read the bad reviews they’re all true!

they gave us a larger with kitchen 2 bd rooms and more expensive room than we paid for on the lower level when we asked for a room on lower instead of 2nd level,Nice restaurent across the street

The room is run down, beds are terribly uncomfortable, the room needed cleaning. It had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. I won’t ever stay here again. And would not recommend any family or friends. 😑

The room is okay. A little smell, little old, but clean enough. The fishing dock is a plus. We got our pb bass 6lb and some crappie there during the night.

Don’t waste your money
Hotel was very dirty with pill bottle under the bed. The TV was unplugged with no power and we had to connect the cable and wires. Even with doing that, the TV still did not work. The office smelled…..and there were some shady looking characters hanging around. Will never book a spot here again.

This place was discussting. The room had finger nail clippings and used bandage on the floor. Then the toilet would not flush at any time. Manager would not come and check it. Just left me a plunger and left. Great place for hookers , and field and construction workers. Thank god we brought our LYSOL!!!!!!

Our stay was very nice. The staff were nice and showed us where we could fish at night. We walked about a block and there were options for dinner, which was convenient. The only thing that was difficult was the parking. It was very tight and we had park in an awkwardly small spot that made my car feel insecure and fat. It took a couple days of driving around the coast to get her confidence back up. If we stay here again were bringing our civic.

The customer service we received from the front desk was lovely. It appears to be a family owned business and they do their best to make everyone feel welcome. This is an economy motel, so you get what you pay for. The price was right, but overall, the accommodations were dirty. The beds and bathroom were clean, which is all that matters. However, the walls and kitchenette looked like they hadn't seen a good wipedown in years. I actually used the first hour scrubbing the areas around the light switches and doorknobs Ick. The location is nice -- right on the lake and the family running the business is wonderful. I think they may need to consider upgrading house keeping once they are established financially. Not a bad review on their house keepers -- the one I met was equally awesome. I just get the feeling they don't have enough time or staff to get more than the bare minimum clean. Our stay would have been 5 stars without the icky walls and light fixtures.

We checked in to the hotel and the best thing I can say about this place was the staff was very friendly. I booked 2 rooms, and one room was ok for cleanliness and the other was not. There was used earplugs and pistachio shells in the dresser drawers as well as left over food in the refrigerator. The shower had 2 temperatures, SCALDING hot or lukewarm. The beds in one room were fairly decent and comfortable, the others were creaky and worn out. I had one of the newly "remodeled" rooms, and whoever put in the sink countertop obviously cannot read a level and does not know what plumb means, but it was whatever since I just needed a place to lay my head. Location was ok, close to town and some good restaurants in the area, but if I had to stay there again... probably not.

Pictures online didn't represent property accurately. Clean towels were not available at check in. Staff came to room three times at check out, one of which opened door. Floors and rooms in the two rooms I viewed were dirty...needs to be mopped!

Room was clean but the shower temperature could not be adjusted - either cold or scalding hot. No safety bars in or around the shower. Outside was filthy: trash everywhere, trash cans overflowing, pool dirty, pool area and surrounding area covered in bird poop. 3 dead baby birds on the ground near the pool the entire 3 days. Overall, pretty shabby...
