"My stay was very good. The staff was quite attentive and took care of all my needs. A special shoutout to the chef, the breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning. I loved the views of the lake right from the balcony of my room. There were only two downsides: - The place was a bit difficult to find, - There is no gym: it’s just machines put together in a room right next to the open space kitchen. It’s in the open - in what should have been a pantry or something. But it was overall a wonderful experience."

"Serena is expensive but it’s a great spot to “land” when you come to Kampala. The grounds are fantastic, the pool is excellent, and the service is great. Centrally located, high security - a great place to stay when you’re in Kampala. "

"Stayed on arrival at Entebbe and the night before a very early flight. We hit a couple of challenges. Power limitations, inconsistent WiFi and Shuttle pickup, but staff was eager to make the best of our challenges, including upgrading our room. Very handy to Entebbe airport, nearness to the Botanical Garden (more of an Arboretum than a garden), and the Zoo, also made this an economical choice . They even arranged a shuttle ride at 3 AM! "
