Hotel di Lake Pocotopaug

"The house was beautiful! The innkeeper Amanda made an excellent breakfast and was friendly and knowledgeable about the property. The house renovations fit in with the period of the house, but provided modern convenience. It was a joy to stay there"

"We had two rooms and two different experiences. Our room was clean and clean and great! Our friends who were traveling with us had an older room and the air had to be worked on and the tv didn’t work. They said there was a lot of dust in their room. They might have switched but it was quite full and they would have had to move from a King bed to something smaller. We had planned on eating at their bar and restaurant but they was a psychic reading event happening so it was crowded. We...

"Bathroom was gross. Stank like a smokers apartment after thirty years"

"It was an OK stay, I think it was a little pricey and I expected more, The bed was too high and on a metal platform, every time one moved it was noisy and clunky. The TV was kind of small compared to other hotels we stayed. $90 would have been more appropriate. Breakfast was also pitiful compared to other hotels. Expected more from a Wyndham property,"

"convenient location, quiet, comfortable. Front desk & Bistro staff members were helpful and engaging."

"This is the second time we have stayed there and I love the privacy of the bedroom and the kitchenette. My partner lives a few states away so when he comes it’s nice to have a home away from home."

"Clean, well kept rooms. Pool was clean and heated. Towels for the pool area too!"

"Always one of the best places to stay in central Connecticut, my personal favorite."

"My boyfriend and I looooved our stay and plan to come back next year for 2 night!"

"I wish I could give this place zero stars. The room was absolutely disgusting and far below any acceptable standard. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, even though it's supposed to be a smoke-free property. There were mysterious hairs all over the bed sheets, the desk chair had duck tape covering the torn upholstery, the bathtub was extremely old with peeling surfaces, and the floor was covered in sticky, dusty marks. I could go on and on. We asked the front desk to change our room, but...

"Nice staff and the breakfast was very accommodating"

"The front counter is not manned. It was evident our room door was pried open at some point. The bathroom does not have any counter top space to put your toiletries on. The shampoo bottles etc were not installed on the wall as intended. The exhaust fan in the bath was not on a separate switch and was very loud when operating."

"Clean"

"Amazing place to stay"
