"The hotel is old and it shows. Our room had an odd smell. We were travelling with a dog so perhaps gave us their worst room. Didnt want to take off my boots as carpet seemed dirty and was not in good condition. Beds are clean and fairly comfortable "

"Such a cute inn outside of Kenora would want to stay longer next time. The soundproofing in the rooms aren't great everyone was very respectful. Very nice patio space and close to a local Beach. "

"Made me wait 20 mins in the cold because there wasn’t anyone at front desk,I paid for a partial lake view that didn’t exist (was all alleyway) elevator didn’t work so had to carry luggage up to third floor, zero hot water after letting it run for 10 mins, and there was a dead bird under my bed that when I brought up to staff they did absolutely nothing for me. It was unhygienic and disgusting, the health department should shut it down, and atleast refund me "

"We stayed in a pet friendly room, which had no carpet. We noticed the underside of the bed was not cleaned, full of dirt and hair; how hard is it to vacuum under the bed? The heating/cooling unit was full of large dust bunnies…and so was the fan in the bathroom ceiling. The room had obviously been renovated and updated but the cleaning staff isn’t doing a good job. The bed was comfortable and bed sheets were clean. Being able to park our vehicle by the room patio door and access the room directly was great. We didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment."

"Very clean rooms. Staff is prompt and courteous. I own a truck so parking is a bit tight but manageable. Quiet too."
