"I was not made aware at the time of booking that the property was under construction and that the amenities were all closed. "

"Bar not open. Rooms need some repair/maintenance. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Love the view. "

"Main heater in room did not work and small space heater was not strong enough to heat room. Alao the tv did not work alot of the time because it was not cable but had to stream off the internet. They changed me to a different room but then i had to change back as the tv did not work at all."

"The staff all seemed friendly but the place was filthy. We skipped the breakfast based on the fact we didn’t think they washed their dishes enough to be sanitary. The wall behind the bathroom door had human poo on it, and the water wasn’t warm. "

"The water heater supposedly burst so we had no water to take a shower or go to the bathroom. No breakfast because we couldn’t trust the water source. The toilet in our room filled up with brown fluid. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. The front door of the entrance into the building is filthy. I do expect some sort of refund as we had to leave to find elsewhere to stay, go to the bathroom and take a shower."

"April 2026 stay, which was 'out of season'. Booked room for five nights with our adult daughter accompanying us. Arrived to find two sets of convention people at the site and the room allocated was a double occupancy bed. Went back to reception and they eventually allocated us a room in 'the estate', an adjacent set of cabins located about 1 mile away. Location was picturesque with lakeside views. "Not worth the amount you pay"

"The room was very nice and the size of the room was excellent."

"This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed at this property. The property was overall very quiet and clean as before. The rooms are spacious, linens clean, and the beds are very comfortable. There was a big downside this time though. I had 2 reservations for 1 night - 1 room for my family and 1 room for my father-in-law. We did not realize until after we received our credit card statement that we were double charged for the stay!"
