"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel de l’Ecluse. The property was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent for exploring Neuchâtel, especially the lakefront, the Collegiate Church, and the castle area, all within easy walking distance. A couple of maintenance issues could use attention — the toilet seat in our room was loose and the shower drain cover kept coming off during use. The room was also quite warm at night. "We stayed in the Rhubarb room and lived the complete kitchen with a huge wet bar! Also having a coffee table and comfortable chairs/sofa was nice. Plenty of beds (5) for most families. The check in process was slightly confusing. Read the email carefully. The entry door was tough to find but it is right by the Restaurant du Banneret. The location was perfect, right by the Chateau. "Alles wunderbar, wenn man mehrere Nächte vor Ort ist und das Auto nicht nutzen will, wird es schwierig mit dem Abendessen. Es gibt keine Restaurants in der Nähe."

"Sehr heisse Zimmer. 30° Celsius. Das ganze Geböude wird durch das Personal nichr gelüftet. Bedienungsarmatur vorhanden, aber keine Klimaanlage?! Obwohl schattenseitig gegen den Park noch freie Zimmer zur Verfügung standen, wurde uns trotz grosser Hitze ein Zimmer sonnenseitig und gegen die Strasse gegeben. Keine Sonnenstoren. Die Tag,-und Nachtvorhänge kann nan nicht schliessen, wenn man die Balkontüre offenlässt. Die Strassennampen leuchten somir voll ins Zimmer. Kurz gesagt. Nie wieder."
