"The staff was wonderful - lots of great recs for dining & things to do. We didn't explore much of Belize City, but we got great info for the time we were there. Everyone says the city isn't safe - but honestly, be smart and don't do dumb things like flash cash, and you'll be fine :)"

"We went as a group of 3 girls. The hotel was comfortable and the balcony provided a beautiful view. Free wifi and toiletries for use. The area felt safe and everything to see (muesuem, cathedral, water taxi, restaurants) were all within a good walking distance. Locals were friendly and open to chat. We saw food vendors by the bridge in the evening, but didn't stay out too late to see more. The staff are v friendly and helpful. "I don’t know why this hotel has such low ratings. It’s not the newest and best, but it is certainly a great value. The views are fabulous. The pool is extremely nice. The staff efficient and friendly. Located in the middle of everything you need in Belize city. The value is unsurpassed."

"We had a nice and easy one night stay- the room had nice amenities and staff was very friendly. There were maybe a couple spots that could have used a better wipe down, some drips on the walls of different colors, but surfaces were all clean. Their restaurant next door was delicious too!"

"We had a fantastic stay. We received a warm welcome with a hand written card and a delicious coconut bread. The staff was nice and very helpful. We booked the deluxe suites/adjacent rooms to accommodate three adults and four kids (12, 10, 4 and 1). The rooms have everything one could ask for. They are very spacious, feel luxurious, the design is modern, the bathrooms are nicely tiled and the shower is hot (which we've not had at other places we've stayed at during our visit to Belize). It's in walking distance to the ferry for caye caulker and San Pedro. They had a community refrigerator and microwave in kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful. Limited places that offer delivery for food. "
