Lake Fausse Pointe State Park

We toured Louisiana a while back and spent a couple of nights at Lake Fausse Pointe State Park. It was pretty cool to be surrounded by such unspoiled nature. You have a couple of options for your stay there: camping or one of their waterside cabins. We opted for the later and it was an amazing experience - especially the alligators swimming under our porch! There are a lot of activities around: boat, canoe, cycling, and some nice walks.
