Top Lake Cowichan Hotel Reviews
Travelodge by Wyndham Nanaimo
8/10 Good
"Room clean and comfortable for a night stay Property needs some maintenance Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast good a good start to the day"
Harbour Light Motel
10/10 Excellent
"A charming, old school motel that anyone who has spent vacations going on road trips will appreciate for its charm and the memories of road trips past it conjures up. Comfy with all of the typical amenities we are used to, with that unique touch that is absent when staying at a corporate chain motel."
Wessex Inn By The Sea
8/10 Good
"Sahill was an excellent host."
Days Inn by Wyndham Nanaimo
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay, but too short. The rooms are like mini suites and the property is fresh and well maintained. The front desk staff were particularly helpful."
Thunderbird Motor Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Ok; let me be super real- this is a motel, in a not so great area of Duncan. There are transient people around and you feel a little iffy. However! Big however- the property felt safe, the room that we were in had been renovated with hardwood floors, and while it was older ish, it was clean. The beds were very comfy, the sheets were crisp white, and though there was a lingering smell when you first walked in of “older building” smell, it went away pretty quick. I paid $225 for two nights over the weekend for a hockey tournament and I would actually stay again. There was a mini fridge, and the shower was the bomb. The shower was SO good. lol. My husband had 7 just because of the pressure. The curtain was also clean which isn’t always the case. The staff was friendly, and the one worker shoos away people that she knows don’t belong there. I’m giving it a good rating because you are getting what you pay for, but tbh it was actually much much better than we thought it would be. I was happy and pleasantly surprised."
