"The room was relatively clean though I killed 2 spiders in the bathtub. The room was so hot that the air conditioner couldn't cool it down until after midnight. The person at the desk was very annoyed that I had a dog though Expedia said they were pet friendly when I made the reservation. We won't be back."

"Absolutely wonderful! The owner has thought of so many details to ensure guests are relaxed and have a great experience. The staff is a genuinely kind and caring. Sit at the fire, relax at the pool, and enjoy an nespresso. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Such a cute place to stay!!! very dated but not in a bad way really. We never met The receptionist, there was a note posted on the door with our directions and our information telling us to go inside and it would be open… and it was. This is an adorable little getaway. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to break away from mainstream motels.. The room was clean. The property was immaculate…. Remind you of the early 1950’s, but well maintained… they even had a little table and two chairs...

"Its close to Kentucky Lake, where we fished all day and were very tired. We stayed here before the final leg of our journey. I slept great and was ready to hit the road early. They supplied a hearty breakfast, so we didnt have to stop til our lunchbreak in the afternoon. Definitely will stay here again."

"Our hotel room looked nothing like the pictures online. It had original red carpet that was so worn it was bare in places. The furniture was all knicked and scratched up. The freezer wasn’t clean, had trash in it, and had ice build up. The shower smelled when you turned on the water. The carpet was dirty, they don’t move furniture and clean behind it. The white door to the outside was so dirty you could see the handprints of previous people who had stayed there and there was a crack so wide when...

"The refrigerator didn't work in our room but they promptly moved us to a different room. The ice machine didn't work for the first 2 days we were there. They had it fixed on our third and last night there. I was charged an extra $50 for "incidentals and was assured that I would get it back after they checked and cleaned my room. I haven't received it yet. Our room was very clean and the staff was nice. Breakfast was waffles, cereal and toast but the waffles were very good and there was never a...

"The manager is very nice, helpful and pleasant. However, he needs to check housekeeping as our room was messy and dirty. I would stay there again as most everything else was great but I would come prepared to clean. One more thing, there is no protein avaliable at the free breakfast except for a small packet of peanut butter."

"The only things I would change are the size of the bathroom and maybe get an indoor pool and watch the pizza oven a little closer. Also, no free breakfast, coffee or shampoo in the room, you have to ask for it or go to the lobby for coffee. But it wasn't terrible and main lobby guy was cool and helpful"
