We loved the beautiful scenery and the family activities. We enjoyed exploring the grounds, it was very relaxing and peaceful. The food was delicious. The room was very spacious and clean. This location is kid friendly and will be returning again soon.

The facility has a lot of charm and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The facility has tennis courts, volleyball court with equipment provided and a pool if the weather is right. The chalet style was quaint, The wood burning fireplace was really cool and useful during the snow flurries. Good shower pressure. Conveniently located to the highway, so it was easy to get to the village. No TV, so bring your device to stream if needed. Internet is strong. The room itself is a noisy whenever the heat turned on at night. The couch seemed a but dusty so we covered it with a bed sheet. Mattress were comfortable, toiletries were nice . The chalet were were in definitely could benefit for updating, and brighter lighting. Would recommend

We really look forward to our wholesome yearly family trip at the UCLA lodge. It reminds us of simpler times. The staff is amazing and everything is clean and cozy.

Overall, Two Thumbs Up!
The property was really beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were superb! We booked a two bedroom chalet. We stayed at Buckthorn Room 70. It was nice and clean. We did have a rough night sleeping because the heater in our chalet was making creaking and clicking noises periodically that would last about a minute at a time. It was bearable in the day because we didn’t stay long indoors but at night the noise kept waking us especially the first night. Perhaps that can be checked before the next guests arrive. Also, this next experience wasn’t in your control but would we would like to share it. the walls/door that separated us from chalet 69 was rather thin. The guests at Rm 69 made so much commotion on Sunday morning before they left. They were very loud, were shouting/screaming so much. At one point someone seemed to be manhandling/throwing furniture or maybe their luggage. It was a bit unsettling and considered reporting them at the time but decided not to. Oh and the kids liked the game room and requested to have more board games. Other than those two incidents, our stay and the staff were very pleasant. We would definitely return! Hopefully with quieter neighbors and quiet heater. 🙂

Our experience
Rena was the receptionist that checked us into the Lodge. We would often come back to her with requests, inquiries, restaurant recommendations…. Etc… She was always so helpful and a delight. We will be back!

The buildings feel a little old but they are very well kept and the bright lighting doesn’t make it feel old or dingy. A few things to note: there was no TV in the chalet we stayed in but there’s plenty of things to do outside. The restaurant is a buffet and served pretty good food at a decent price. No alcohol or soda in the restaurant though. We walked to the treehouse which was more like a tree-platform. It wasn’t a traditional treehouse that kids can play in. There’s other things to see and walk to on the property if you have more time to explore. Last thing, toothbrush & toothpaste is available at the front desk for a charge. They are NOT part of the free toiletries. Overall a great, relaxing stay with the family in the Lake Arrowhead area.

As our goal is for our guests to reach a deep level of connection with nature and the people they choose to visit us with, we have intentionally avoided placing TVs in our condolets. However, we do have high speed wireless routed throughout our property that can be accessed if desired. We are also excited to soon open our Tavern bar and hope that you'll be able to return to experience that.

We loved our stay and we really liked the customer service. From the first day we were greeted by Bonnie who worked at the front desk. She was very helpful and kind. Will definitely be staying here again. Our kids loved all the activities they could do which included tennis, basketball, soccer, etc.. Chalet was very clean, parking was also good. We went on NYE and they had a party with chicken strips, fries, popcorn and apple cider. It was a fun way to bring in the new year. Loved it here! Highly recommend 😄

My family loved the cabin style accommodations. The two bed room and two bath room had a fireplace and was perfect for our stay. They have plenty of activities for kids and families. My teens didn’t want to watch the movie, but did take advantage of the hot chocolate and s’more making kit by the fire pit. We are already planning to return in the summer.

Great stay with my family of 4 kids. My only complaint is that the windows are black out and the sheer curtains over the doors let in way to much light. Our room/chalet was right by the main road and the rooms lit up every few minutes a car drove by. The kids loved the loft and the fireplace. Also, if you have little ones, please be aware there are no TVs.

While we have intentionally avoided placing televisions in our rooms in order to encourage an ambiance of connection with nature and loved ones, we do offer high speed wireless throughout our property so that our guests can "plug in" when desired.

Great property! Only constructive comment would be to make sure you call for “housekeeping” as this is t done without a request. Also, our water heater was on low so we had Luke warm showers for a few days. They corrected it once I let them know. But other than that, lovely property!
