Das Hotel hat einige Mängel

Die Besetzung der Rezeption ist mangelhaft. Der Gast muss sich dem Hotel anpassen???? Dass das Hotel Vieille Tour ein Garni-Hotel ist, wird ist auf dem Buchungstool nicht ersichtlich. Gepäckauslad vor dem Hotel ist unmöglich.

Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, freundlicher Service. Die Zimmer waren im 80er-Stil, die Möbel nicht sonderlich hochwertig. Definitiv nicht unser Geschmack. Alles sehr sauber und nichts defekt.

Nära Vevey & sjön

Hotellet ligger på gångavstånd till Vevey och man följer strandpromenaden. Badplats med både en liten strand och badstegar ligger i princip rakt nedanför hotellet för den som vill bada i Genèvesjön. Receptionisten som var där när vi checkade in var välkomnande och service-minded. Andra gav ett sämre intryck och det var oklart om de ens arbetade där. Säkerhetsboxen var inte fastskruvad samt ur funktion. Bör åtgärdas.

Hotel ownership changed recently and we've been told that a lot of refurbishments are planned. That said, the person at reception was extremely helpful. We had a booking for 2 nights. First night (at the front) was in a very noisy and extremely hot room. Without any problems the man at reception moved us to another room with windows on the side which was much quieter. Bathroom facilities were good. Nice strong shower !! Breakfast was simple and adequate. Location for the Montreux Jazz and the Fete de Vignerons (later in July'19) is excellent and Free tickets for Public Transport !!!

Incorrect check in hours

The check in hours mentioned are incorrect, and if you get unlucky you have to wait a day to get into the hotel and get your room. And the staff seem uninterested in updating the correct hours.

Nice hotel

Friendly staff, clean room. A bit outdated bathroom, but everything was clean and tidy. Located by bus stop making it easy to access both Vevey and Montreux.

Nice place for a price, good access everywhere

Very nice rooms, but rooms on the first floor have windows at the street level, which makes it a bit noisy and not exactly convenient privacy-wise. The clock on the tower across the street makes a lot of noise, so you can't leave the windows open during the night (there's no A/C). Parking garage next to the supermarket across the street is really convenient and relatively inexpensive (5 CHF overnight parking).
