"Had a great time at the MET hotel where we stayed a total of three nights during our trip to Bolivia. We had to make a last minute change to our itinerary and the hotel personnel was kind enough to accommodate us. Communication was easy and efficient, hotel was clean (and I have very high standards when it comes to this) and the food we tried at the restaurant was good. "I loved the style of the hotel- the art and decor in reception and dining are beautiful! Food was good, I had 2 dinners there. My bed was awesome!!!! The only thing you need to be aware of is you’ll need to take a taxi to get to other areas. Traffic is tough but doable. Nice to be in a quiet area not filled with so much car pollution. "

"Where do I begin? Wow ... Elegance is not the word I would use. Staff is great. Hot shower great. I'm sure the place was a 3 star hotel in the 1970s. It has not been touched since then. Chairs literally falling apart and you have to hammer the arms back in place. Sofas so old no one would take them for free off the street. Towels shredding. Rug dirty. I travel a lot so I'm used to simple hotels but this one needs an entire overhaul. Breakfast is terrible. Every day only toast, jelly, cheese, ham...
