"We have bern coming to this hotel every year for the last 5 years. 1 or 2 nights . It is a stopover for us and a nice end to out holidays. The hotel location is great. I love the rooms decor and the peaceful courtyard."

"We stayed for 3 nights and had a relaxing break in this lovely seaside resport. The hotel is about a 4 minute walk from the seafront. It's opposite the railway station making it easy to get into La Rochelle (20 mins away) or a trip to Bordeaux for the day in the other direction. The trains are not noisy and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet breakfast around 15 Euros and it is superior to the breakfasts available at the seafront cafes. It's very good. The young guy on reception is very helpful and speaks good English. Thank you. The parking is easy too. Plenty of spaces in the layby along the road, by and near the hotel. I recommend it."

"Perfectly good classic old style hotel in a beautiful French seaside town. Excellent shower. Good breakfast with orange juice, fresh croissants, ham and cheese and fresh fruit. Loved the DIY, boiled egg machine! Only disappointment, cheap plastic cups in bedroom."

"Disappointed to find that Wi-Fi was not available in room, as that meant no access to UK radio. Reception staff were very helpful and explained how things worked, as obviously written instructions were in French."

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel Napoleon. Franck and the rest of the team were so friendly and helpful. The Ile itself is incredible and made all the more special by being able to stay in such a great hotel which also has a really nice restaurant We will definitely be back later in the year to continue our adventures"
