"We were visiting for a volleyball tournament held in the area. After hearing the horror stories of other parents and their hotel stays, we were so relieved we were at the Hampton. It was clean, had a great open space as you walk in with board games. Our team had the perfect spot to hang out all together. And the warm cookies were an excellent touch. If visiting La Grande, this is the best place to stay."

"Its not a bad hotel just aged a bit. The pool was nice but a bit chilly and the hot tub was broken. Breakfast was adequate and good. It does have a decent fitness room. "

"The smoke alarm went off just after midnight and again around 6AM. There was no obvious smoke and the building was not on fire. I believe that maintenance of the air filter in the heat pump had been ignored, leading to particulates escaping from the filter and subsequently triggering the smoke alarm. Office staff proved unable to deal with this issue in a timely manner."
