This property is absolutely lovely and well maintained. There is a lot to explore, many trails, ponds, gardens and fields. A variety of birds and other wildlife are easy to see. The pools, are sparkling clean, and the staff were all helpful and courteous. The view is spectacular, right at the base of Arenal volcano. The food in the cafe is very good for breakfast which was included in our stay.

My family had a very nice stay at this resort. The breakfast was great. The kids and adults enjoyed the many cool water and warm/ hot water pools. Love the easy access to the food and drinks right at swim up bar/ restaurant.

The property was perfect for the Arenal segment of our week in Costa Rica. Beautiful grounds and we also enjoyed the hot spring pools. Nice for all ages of travelers. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds, an unexpected bonus, nice blow dryers IYKYK. The on-site restaurant had an extensive buffet breakfast included which was awesome. Also must mention the spa, a very special experience, hearing the sounds of the outdoors during my wonderful treatment. Would love to return someday, and only positive things to say!

The resort was beautiful and a nice view of the volcano. The variety of hot springs and pools were great. It is a big resort but they have a shuttle to get you around the resort. We had a great stay.

We woke up to construction going in right next door to our room. At 7:30am we woke up to banging noises all morning. I could not relax on my balcony and drink coffee in the morning. I paid full price and the managers are not returning my emails. Terrible experience

A great place to stay with kids over 18. The drinks and food were reasonable priced and good! Shout out to Oscar the bartender at the pool. He was so friendly and took great care of our family!

Los Lagos exceeded our expectations. I thought it was a great value for what we paid. While the lobby appeared slightly dated, our room was newly renovated. Beds were comfortable and our patio had a beautiful view of Arenal. The hot springs were amazing and my kids LOVED the water slides. Food at the restaurant was great. Staff were all very friendly and housekeeping left cute towel animals for our girls in the room. Grounds were immaculate. I would recommend this property to anyone.

My stay at Los Lagos could not have been anymore magical! The resort is beautiful, so many hidden places to explore. I saw so many birds, lizards, wild boars and other critters during my walks. Loved spending my mornings drinking coffee on my rooms balcony, hearing the jungle slowly wake up Every single person working at the hotel from the wait staff to housekeeping were nothing short of amazing and attentive. Depending on where your room is situated, may be a bit of a hike from the pools/restaraunt, definitely got all my steps in during this trip. But, there is transportation that is super easy to easy to arrange if you’re not up for the walk. Did not have a lackluster meal or drink for the entirety of my 8-day stay. I had so much fun exploring all their ceviche options and also discovered the beauty of a guaro sour. I am so glad I chose to spend my time in Arenal at Los Lagos and would certainly love to come back sometime for another stay!

Our stay at Los Lagos was wonderful. We travelled as a family with our 9 year old son. He really liked the waterslides and the pool. Also enjoyed discovering all the thermal pools throughout the property. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The resort is built in the hillside so be prepared for some steep walks. However there is a shuttle that runs through the property so no worries there. The rooms were large and very clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was very dark. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the patio outside the room in the morning listening to and watching all the birds! So peaceful and relaxing. The food at the hotel was excellent. The menu selections were plentiful, something for everyone and prices were reasonable. We had a wonderful time at this resort and would definitely stay here again.

Nice view of Arenal and private viewing area. The AC in our room leaked all over our bags and we found a cockroach in our room they had to service. Could be cleaner and more appealing. Def 3 star type hotel.

Hot spring and pool are beautiful with a view of the Arenal Volcano this has to be the best part of the hotel. My kids loved the pool slides but lacked pool Loungers and chairs. The room felt big and empty much to be desired. It only has one restaurant unless you count the pool bar. Complementary breakfast bar was not bad you get what you pay for.

The resort was absolutely fabulous! The hot springs pools, the nature trails, the birds, the lodgings and the restaurants were all top notch. An amazing property! Many options for swimming and relaxing. Both hot and cool pools, plenty to keep both kids and adults happy. Great views of the volcano. Good food options at the main restaurant as well as the bar. Well-maintained buildings and a very friendly, helpful staff. We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay at Los Lagos again!

We stayed for 2 nights at the property. First night there, we had to take cold showers since the hot water was not working in our bathroom. It was fixed promptly the next morning. Please know that if you do not have a car, you will have to wait for the shuttle to be transported around in the property. The shuttle does not automatically run on a route. You have to call the office to have the shuttle come pick you up. On 2 occasions, the office did not pick up. On another occasion after waiting 15 minutes, the shuttle came full so we had to call for another one. If it's raining which often happens in La Fortuna, you will be under the rain waiting for the shuttle. This happened to us. Not a fun thing to do on vacation.

Great place. Enjoyed the location. Enjoyed the springs fed man made pools and varying temperatures. All the different walks with the hotel grounds were nice too. Located close to the main town and restaurants was convenient. I rate this an a-one on the scale of places to stay.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and absolutely loved it. The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the grounds. The hot and cold springs are gorgeous, the waterslide and pool area are wonderful for kids, the swim up bar is such a treat and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is lovely - has beautiful views of the grounds and the volcano, and the breakfast is great - lots of options. The only part of our stay that didn't meet my expectations was that we booked a 'mountain view' room, and there was no view of the volcano at all - the outdoor space behind the cabins is very tiny and overgrown. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here.

Great spot to stay in La Fortuna area. Everything is close by and easy to get to from there. The pool and thermal baths were an excellent way to chill in the afternoon between activities or after a long day of adventuring. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Food at the pool bar was also great. The whole family gave it a 5/5

Beautiful property, so many choices of pools/hot springs from more secluded to more social. Rooms are dated but large andclean with amazing views of volcano. We found food to be good and all service was excellent with exception of concierge which wasnt too helpful. But would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend to others.
