Independent La Crosse hotels

"When I walked in to check into my room the hotel attendant and another guest were arguing, then when I was standing there an older lady walked by and told us all to go to hell. After finally getting to check in, I was told my room wasn’t available. I booked a 1 king bed room 3 weeks before arriving and got there to be told it wasn’t available. I ended up staying and got a room with two double beds for the same price because I didn’t have another choice being that it was almost 1 in the morning. The room was in a no smoking area of the hotel but absolutely reeked of cigarettes. I get that it was a cheaper room but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had."

"The hot tub was great to end our long drive. Room was average. Bed was a litte uncomfortable for me but if you like a firm bed then it will be fine for you. "
