"A well-kept small hotel in the 6th Arrondissement of Lyon. the hotel is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a Haussmann-style building with a lift.
Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, the Rhone river is a 5 minute walk and the magnificant Park de la Tete d'Or is about ten minutes north.
The lobby, breakfast area and rooms are kept very clean. The continental breakfast is good and reasonably priced.
Not a luxury experience, but a very good value.

"What a special hotel!! A friend and I decided to do two nights in Lyon during a Paris stay and we are so glad we did! Bayard is in the perfect location, making it easy to walk everywhere and only a quick 25min drive from Lyon Part Dieux train station. Breakfast is an absolute must, so convenient and delicious! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The interior of the hotel will transport you back in time - everything was so great!"
