"Staffs are friendly. I know it is an old building but it is not clean. The room is dusty and there were hair on the towel and a lot more on the carpet, our wet shoes collected a bunch of them after touring the room as soon as we checked in. Breakfast is minimal but helps especially when traveling with kids. It is right on the main street and of course we can’t forget to mention that there is a naval station nearby, expect aerial noise from time to time during the day. Overall, great value and beautiful curb appeal. I only wish for a better housekeeping."

"Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Morning breakfast options are basic and good tasting. They don’t schedule to clean your room. But you can request an exception to that policy. (At $300 per night, we thought room cleaning would be the norm.)"

"The climate control system took forever to cool down. Woke up at 2:20am because the fan was too loud. It turns out the room was 75 degrees. By 6:30 am it had cooled to just 73 degrees —not fun, especially for $247."
