"This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The resort is beautiful and it’s huge so if you’re not here long, it may be hard to discover everything there is to do on the resort. The prices for the food are a bit pricey but worth it. I lost my sunglasses in the ocean and so did another patron, but the beach is really pretty and private. I highly recommend getting a rental car and exploring other parts of the island outside of the resort. I want to give a special thank you to: Scott Robinson, Jacob, and Yariel for being so helpful and kind. I would definitely stay at this resort again. The pools were clean. The rooms were clean. The resort is currently being renovated so by the time we come back, it’ll be even better."

"The Rainforest Inn is in a class all by itself. The location is convenient to El Yunque Rainforest hikes and easy to get to. The accommodations (and fresh-tasty breakfast) are first rate. You are asked for your coffee order conveniently before breakfast so you can enjoy a fresh cup before breakfast outside overloking the lush vegetation and the Atlantic. The owners greet you when you arrive with a tasty welcoming drink and get yoi settled in. A wonderful, helpful staff (shout out to Diane) that is available to answer questions, help with directions and just generally help you feel at home. A yoga room, saltwater pool and a hiking trail just outside you door. Go here. Relax. Hike. Zen Out and prepare yourself for a once in a lifetime stay. "
