"I had an amazing stay here! Location is perfect- taxi from airport takes around 30 mins and cost around €25 (using uber). It takes a short walk to beach side, lots of good restaurants nearby, and easy public transportation to Valletta/Mdina/ Gozo ferry etc. All staff are very friendly- they kindly let me use rooftop pool after check-out. "

"4 star hotel in Sliema, Malta. Quiet area. Lovely air conditioned, big room with balcony. Roof to pool. Sister hotel to the 5 star Palace Hotel which was accessible via a passageway on first floor. 10 minutes walk to sea front and ferry to Valletta. 15 mins walk to the bustling St. Julian's and The Point Shopping Mall. Lovely variety of breakfast - hot and cold food. Would definitely come back to this hotel. "

"We had an excellent stay at the Cumberland Hotel and found it offered high standards in all areas, including reception, room cleanliness and facilities, and a varied and delicious breakfast. We found all the staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly and were highly impressed by the speed in which a problem with a loose tap in our bathroom was dealt with. The hotel is located in a very central location in the beautiful city of Valletta and we really miss hearing the bells of St John's...

"Me ha encantado todo! Es un hotel muy bonito, con todas las facilidad, una piscina climatizada, gimnasio y desayuno buffet, un personal super amable. Estaba super limpio, las sabanas se cambiaban cada día y las toallas. Teniamos a disposición maquina de agua y café 24h. Lo unico malo que podría señalar sería el hecho de que al tener muchos bares abajo y restaurantes es una calle bastante transitada. Pero muy bien comunicada."

Lovely rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. Only negative is the front door for the building is very loud every time someone opens/closes it. If a light sleeper could be an issue."

"Having stayed there before we knew it was a superb hotel. This time we got a room upgrade to a corner suite with fantastic views and it was the last word. The hotel is in a great location close to the nightlife of St. Julians but far enough away for a quiet night. The rooftop pool is really good with plenty of sunbeds available and a shaded bar."
