I think was very friendly! Some trouble with language - but overall was great! Would be nice to add some English channels to the TVs / everything is in Ukraine! And small trouble with gnats and small roaches

i was updated to a very big room. I enjoyed stay here for 3 nights. It is about 15 minutes walk from Metro station.

A simple hotel but clean and comfortable. 10 minutes walk to percherska metro and 20 mins walk to Motherland monument. No bars or restaurants close by but easy to get into main part/old town etc to eat and drink. For the price this is an excellent choice unless you are looking for luxury and extras ... in which case go to Paris or New York!!! ATM in hotel lobby was also a great thing. Kiev is a great city but take comfortable walking shoes ... I did 70 km in 4 days!

I was a little bit hesitant to book this place because of the bad reviews. However my room was massive with a amazing view of the city. I could see The Motherland Monument from my bed. Incredibly fast internet, only one thing they need to fix is the shower curtain. They just don’t have anything to block the water so when you are taking a shower entire bathroom is wet. Other than that I would definitely book this place again.

20 minutes to the Metro, but It,s only 10 minutes walk to the Lavra.no restuarant around. Hotel restuarant is so average.quiet place to stay.

Its a reasonable deal, I was happy
staff does indeed their best to help you. The hotel is not really in the center but you take the metro and you get there. The condition of the hotel is that from a hotel made 20 years ago ( I guess) I didn't mind, and I was happy!. The restaurant is a bit more expensive of what you will see on a normal restaurant on the streets. Wifi is good.

Would Definitely Stay Here Again....
Staff friendly and helpful (particularly the female receptionists & restaurant staff), hotel clean and presentable (if the decor was a little dated). Would definitely stay here again if I return to Kiev. Was within walking distance for me of; The Monument to the Founders of Kiev (on the bank of the river Dnieper), The Motherland Monument and Kiev Pechersk Lavra (the Monastery of Caves), Shops, bars and most importantly of all coffee stalls/shops/cafes.

Reasonable priced standard hotel
It is an ordinary hotel that needs renovation. Had issue with wifi and the reception was kind enough to switch the room which was close to router

The hotel in Kiev smell funny and in Odessa was Ok
I was told that this will be a 4 stars hotel but latter on the staff in the hotel said that it was a three stars hotel but for me two stars are enough. The menu in the restaurant was written in Ukrainian or Russian but not English. the staff in the restaurant does not speak English. It was not pleasant experience for me in Kiev and Odessa in the same hotel

All in all a decent hotel for the price
+ amazing staff, couldn't do enough for us. + walking distance to some main. attractions (Motherland statue, Lavra etc). + good food and service in the restaurant. - decor a little dated - taxi drivers have no idea where it is!

O hotel é confortável e limpo. Sua relativa distância do centro se converte em tranquilidade. Não gostei de não terem me oferecido a garrafinha de água mineral que tinha direito. (Acabou e ficou por isso mesmo)

Det var svært at kommunikere med de ansatte, der var kun en der kunne engelsk eller tysk. Men de prøvede dog alligevel deres bedste. Hotellet lå ikke midt i centrum, men lå 10 min fra hovedgaden... Rengøringen var fin, dog skulle de nok skifte sengetøjet når man "beder om det "

Huone ok, perussiisti. Aamupala hieman suppea. Henkilökunta puhui hyvin vähän englantia. Muutama respan työntekijä puhui hieman enemmän. Pystyi kysymään neuvoa, yms. Loput sitten osasivat sanan tai kaksi. Sijainti oli hieman piilossa ja sivussa. Metrolle kuitenkin ihan kävelymatka, samoin esim. luolaluostarille.
