"Well where to start? Let’s start with the good things. Is a beautifully located, peaceful resort. The rooms are spacious and well tended and staff are very friendly. Also I’d heartily recommend the fired Tilapia for dinner. But there are downsides. Big downsides. The resort is run down and little effort is made beyond the rooms. "The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! "

"Beautiful grounds, well-priced, extremely clean rooms and fast, efficient airport shuttle. We truly enjoyed our one night stay at Papyrus! The cuisine was also excellent and the choices were quite varied! Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help with any detail, no matter how small. "We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Entebbe! The location is truly special—right on the lake and only accessible by water taxi, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape from everything. "Amazing place to stay in Kalangala. Such a comfortable and clean place to stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. As we stayed during the week we had the place to ourselves. Pool area was lovely. Food was delish! The forest activities were a lot of fun! It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature as well as the views of Lake Victoria! "

"Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island"

Executive Airport Hotel

"This was our second stay at this hotel and it is an excellent choice. It is close to the airport. Transportation from the airport to the hotel is included. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. A made-to-order breakfast was also included. The rates are reasonable and the staff efficient and professional. We are frequent travelers to Uganda and will choose to stay here again."

"Brovad is a must go to if you are taking a trip to Uganda. It's a beautiful get away from the bustle of the city. It's not a beach as it's on a lake, but the surroundings will make you believe you are. The staff are amazing, kind, thoughtful and will do their best to ensure you have the best experience. Always check in with the receptionist about a problem; don't just grumble, they will always have a solution. The weekends are busy, and if you enjoy a lively vibe, the weekend is a good option; otherwise, the weekdays are so tranquil. I will be back soon Brovad!"
