The calm and peaceful atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. Rahul and the kitchen team were fabulous and the house keeping staff were very professional and helpful.

Chakra cottage had aesthetic interiors and very spacious even for a couple with small kids. Seeing sunrise in the lake from the portico was wonderful. Staff were really courteous and friendly. Spa was great too. Overall it was a lovely peaceful experience just an hour drive from Thiruvananthapuram.

Romantic Escape for Couples & Families

The property itself is quite fantastic! The room and outdoor jacuzzi were fabulous, as was the beautiful garden & lotus pond overlooking the lake. We were there for Valentine's Day, and the team did everything possible to make sure we had a great, romantic stay. For our V Day dinner, they gave us a private spot right on the lake away from everyone else, and the food was remarkable. My ONLY complaint about this place was with the spa. We both had a four-hands massage. Not only did my massage start 10 minutes late, it actually also ended 10 minutes early. So, the hour-long massage that I paid for ended up being only 40 minutes long, which was quite disappointing!

Front office staff was not friendly and helpful. When the booking was done I had mentioned 3 adults and 3 kids. But for some reason my confirmation had not mentioned the kids. This was not my fault and the front office staff did not provide any help.

Lesser known but very beautiful resort by a lake

We loved the stay. All the rooms have very beautiful view of the lake. Service has a personal touch. One of the less known but very beautiful location.

Perfect lake oasis in a hectic south India

Wrong information about alcohol on web page and in menu was irritating. Otherwise a perfect stay, screened from the hectic surrounding but wit access for excursions.

Pretty nice spot 60kms away from Trivandrum city ! Not that hard to find I used google maps ! More of a quite and serene spot ! Would be fun in the company of 10 or so !! Food for breakfast was limited to some South Indian and few other dishes ! Dinner was ala carte and the food was nice ! I would say it's a nice stay but not exceptional ! If I d have to rate it I d say a 3.5/5

Good experience. Stay was very comfortable. Facilities are good and for a couple siddhi villas are perfect to spend time leisurely and private. Food inside the resort is super costly and taste is not that good.

Amazing location and this is on state highway !!

This resort is located at very nice location - next to Chittar lake and one gets a wonderful view of scenary around the lake. Rooms are big and comfortable. Resort staff was helpful and responsive. Food choices could be better considering the profile of the guests (lot of people from north/ west) however the items were good in taste. We reached this resort quite late after a long drive from Kanyakumari and could not really make good use of the facilities or I would say - very less time for relaxation. However this does not take away anything from the place and we had a overall good experience.
