My room smelled like damp and there was a damp stain on the wall. Other than that it's was ok, although I wouldn't want to stay there more than a couple of nights.
Pros: it was quiet, had the only properly functioning ac I've come across in Bali and in a great location.
Cons: damp smell and English not great. For example, I wanted to get a coffee (bear in mind this is way after breakfast time). Me 'can I get a coffee please?' Confused looks, furrowing of brows. 'no, your room does not come with breakfast'. Me 'yes I know, can I get a coffee please?'. 'No, no breakfast. You have to pay.' Me: 'OK, no problem. Can I have a coffee please?'. Still looks unsure. The lady who I think must own the place comes out, 'you want to buy a coffee?'. Me 'yes please'. Lady 'coffee stuff is over there, you can get it yourself'... For me this wasn't great customer service and was far more complicated than it needed to be.
