"I have been staying at the hotel for several years, whilst location is fantastic, the condition of the rooms is becoming more obvious of age."

"Surprised to find a 5* hotel did not include breakfast. Difficult to stay asleep because the only bed-covering was a very thick doona which could not be replaced by a thinner blanket as none was provided and there was no top sheet. Credit card surcharge was exorbitant. Major renovations in progress, but no notification or rebate. Room provisions were inadequate (tissues, sanitary pad disposal bags). Not what one would expect of an entity that trades on excellence."

"clean room and comfortable bed. checkin was quick and easy, staff friendly and accommodating. good underground secure parking. although I did have an issue with the window curtain falling off its holding track, other than that it was a good stay and I will be returning to stay again in the future. "

"On first sight, the room looked of 5 star quality, with good amenities in the room, bathroom and storage area. However, the carpet is in very serious need of a good deep clean and was rather unsavoury to both look at and walk on. "

"This isn't our first stay at Stamford Plaza, it is a great place to stay, location is brilliant, staff are very friendly and helpful, room was great, comfortable bed and everything you need on hand. We didn't have any issues at all, nice touch to have complimentary water each day, even got some lindt chocolate on one of the days which was nice."
