"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "We loved our stay at The Ridge! So relaxing and the views are incredible. They made us feel like family, and it was one of the best places we've ever stayed. We appreciated the hand-chosen artwork, breakfast, attention to detail, architecture, and how well everything was put together. "They have 3 villas. Be mindful that it's more like a private house. I had trouble finding the location, the address in Bali is not as exact as I anticipated, so I kind of had to guess the closest landmark when I booked a transport. It is kind of out of nowhere, so I spent 3 days of tranquility. The villa is beautiful, nicely maintained, you have a full kitchen so I could cook from my own grocery. "The place is as pretty as the pictures. There’s wifi, proper air conditioning, working kitchen, and I do wake up with that beautiful sceneries. Staffs are very friendly. One thing though, there were only 2 restaurants around and close quite early. So manage your time well."
