Hotel location is very good; next to a good mall, next to public transportation like Monorail, MRT and Commuter train system. Hotel overall is well maintained except for some carpeting. Room is clean and housekeeping is very good and attentive to our needs. Our bed is clean and comfortable. We slept well. Kamal, our housekeeper is excellent! All the hotel staff is friendly, pleasant to deal with, well versed in English, professional and very helpful. We had the buffet breakfast and it can get pretty busy. Breakfast food quality is good and slightly above average. Food variety is large; from Malay, Chinese, Indian to Continental. I would recommend this accommodation and will go back if I were to visit Malaysia next year!

The hotel presents well in pictures, but cleanliness and maintenance were major issues once there. Sadly, there were cockroaches in the room, and the amenities were quite dated. Not much to do in the immediate area, so it was good that there is a train station immediately next to the hotel. The train tracks running so close to the hotel, however, made my room particularly noisy till about midnight each night. On a positive note, the staff were generally pleasant and helpful.

We’re so thankful that we chose to stay at the Sunway Putra Hotel on our trip to KL. The room was spacious and clean. It was incredibly convenient having the mall downstairs with lots of shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! And the staff was always friendly and helpful, especially our room attendant Baset. Not only did he keep our room impeccably clean, but he brightened our days with his friendliness and smiles. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who visits KL!
