i would like to give back feedback to this hotel because for standard room normal rent per night 51 Rm and through expedia was very expensive i never recommended expedia again to anybody the hotel charge me 97+15 tax+10 government tax= 122Rm without break fast i am sorry to say bad expedia and bad hotel because both of you cheating people

The hotel is very old.However, the very issue on the hotel is that the room is very very very dirty. The carpet is so dirty that you have to wear your shoes inside the room. The wall, table and sofa are also very dirty, Finally the toilet is so damn dirty that you will not even want to use it, And if you ask the receptionist, they would say this is the toilet standard for their bathrooms. The 3 star on the hotel is rubbish. Overall NOTHING is clean for the hotel room and I wonder how some of guests can even say the room is clean and comfortable.. Stay away from this hotel except if you like to stay in a dirty room with a very very dirty bathroom. Save your money and go elsewhere. There is no way they can improve any further.

The hotel is already old. The restroom faucets are very hard to pull but functioning. What I like in them was that they allow early check in with no extra charge as long as the room is available.

First impression smell old, needs paint job really bad. Cob web and air condition was on and off. TV has to be upgraded, should have at least one international news channel like BBC or CNN. Shower room need to be scrubbed or change the tiles. WC was ok. I hope the management will take care of business. Very disappointing.

Checkout early and try to find another hotel. Staff is rude, room is for sure not clean, saw blood stain on the mattress etc, not recommended.

Strategic location but not nice to stay
Location is great - so you could search hotel around that area, there are quite a few competitive ones - means surrounding the hotel within walking distance you are able to visit a few hotspots within a day , eg Dataran Merdeka , Chinatown (now become Indian town) , Central Market, Masjid Jamek, National Tekstil Museum, if you still have time left for the day, could go Bukit Bintang shopping by taking MRT from Pasar Seni to Bukit Bintang station. All this could be done within a day by walking and MRT / LRT. The room I stayed is miserable, like horrid movie style, I turned the light on both nights. I paid about RM 72 per night for a no windows common room. Not sure if other type of room could be different. You may consider other budget hotel or backpacker hotel, they could be clean and tidy

Close to Chinatown, central market and few lines
Very good location. ..close to pudu sentral where star alliance run shutter bus every 30 minutes to KL airport...also right in Chinatown...very close to everything...including many street vendors for food and other stuffs...the hotel is a little bit less maintained but can not complain with the price for a room in downtown KL

if only for the convenience of the location to Chinatown. hotel rooms is very old. stay only if the price is attractive to you. no security guards. for low budget. very friendly staffs.

Hotel close to public transport facilities
MRT, LRT, city buses and railway station is within walking distance from the hotel. KL China Town about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. If room maintenance is carried out properly by the management I am sure the overall rating of the hotel will be nothing less than 4.

Best budget hotel in KL Chinatown.
We pick the Mandarin Pacific hotel based on its location and budget price . This hotel is located right at Pasadena Seni (china town) metro station with a few. Walking steps to the following attractions : 1/ food stalls in China town of Kuala Lumpur. 2/ free bus shuttles around KL . 3/ cheap shopping around for souvenir items, shoes, electronics..... The hotel has a central AC system , cold enough for folks from Alaska, good mattress, good hot water in shower. Spacious room with cabled Tv ( it will be nice if TV is upgraded to flat type Tv ). Guest are given breakfast and bottles of water everyday. There is a travel agency for day tours around KL . For budget travelers, this hotel is ideal for long termed stay . We enjoyed our 5 night stay and highly recommend this hotel to budget travelers.

Standard double room had a damp carpet.
The room that was given had a very wet bathroom floor, so the carpet was damp. Reason for wet floor was when taking bath, the floor was flooded, probably due to partly blocked drainage.

Bad wifi on upper floors
This is d second time I m staying at MP hotel.. I stayed in Room 1209 where the wifi was pathetic compared to d last stay. Presumably the lower floors the signal is gud as was my last experience.. other than the wifi I had no complaints. The location and amenities outweigh the disadvantages.. As I had to use d lobby to use the net, the lobby does not have any chairs after 6pm . It's all removed and tucked inside somewhere ..

Big but worn out room, filthy carpeting, big but not well kept toilet, old & not well functioning tv set, almost no air conditioning, dead cockroach on the bottom wall, bed sheets with hair on them, slow check-in, parking was not free (parking attendant asked for RM5), good but busy location in town & ok (simple) breakfast.

Near to my transaction but no exemption of time 2.
My book is 4-6 but accidentally our flight is delayed reach there @ 2 am morning of 5th then pay for 3nites already? No exemption of time to stay.... they not serve water, shampoo for the 3rd day I extended.... so next time I look other hotel to stay.....

Look elsewhere
This is place is pretty dated and hasn't seen a paint brush in decades. There is a wierd smell to the place too (like stale urine and smoke). Not clean and if you do stay here just check your bed. I stayed one night of three and they did refund me the remaining two nights. Cudos to them for that.

The Deluxe Superior Family room which I stayed is big and spacious. It's value for money. It takes only a few minutes walk to the LRT and bus stations.

Hotel need upgrade
The conditions of the toilet and shower curtain need to change. Room facilities are very old and rundowns, the fire was inlet was badly worn - Wander it work want there is an outbreak of fire.
