When we arrived we didn’t know if the hotel was open. The gate was closed and we didn’t see anyone around. We were told that there wouldn’t be anyone available until 2pm at the reception desk and were prepared to wait outside with our luggage. No baggage storage despite online listings stating so. (We arrived around 12:30). The owner saw us around 1pm and allowed us to check in early.
It’s a beautiful, clean building that must be family run. We had a fantastic view from our balcony of the water. No kettle or tea offered in the room, only an iron. The beach was a short distance away. No nearby stores or markets were open. Most of the nearby restaurants within walking distance were already closed for the season. Buying bottled water at the closest restaurant cost us triple what we paid for at a regular market or store but there were very limited options. This area would be best appreciated by those renting or driving a car since it’s in a more remote area. We did not have a vehicle.
We checked out within 2 hours to stay right in Ksamil at another hotel. I’m sure during peak season this would have been a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing holiday but just not a good fit for us at this time.
