"I booked the apartment room for one night. I was traveling by myself and had a long journey that day. Upon arrival, the host told me that there had been a 'mistake' and that she had given the room away to other guests. She showed me my booking that she had printed out with BIG BLACK BOLD letters across the top confirming the room my type. So I am unsure how such an 'error' may have occurred. "Nice room, clean and spacius. Breakfast is good but a limited selection in good quality. People with disabilities should call first for guidance, as there is no staff."

"Excellent location across from the waterfront. Steps up to the entrance but a small, narrow ramp to the side of the hotel for wheelchairs. Lobby extremely attractive and clean. Staff welcoming and check-in stressfree. We booked an accessible room - the bathroom was spacious with expected amenities. The room was clean and the bed comfortable although not quite big enough to easily move around in a wheelchair. We did not book breakfast (at €20/person we thought it a little on the high price side). We would stay here again if in the area and recommend the hotel as excellent value for money especially in the location."

"A bit of a mixture feelings about the place. Although in overall it looks great and sleep was comfortable, and the place was clean enough, the overall experience was somewhat mediocre for the price. Plus, perhaps expected too much from a 300+ years old tavern... The breakfast was rather basic, thought with fresh good bread."

"The room was very clean and the staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly throughout my stay. The room itself was a bit on the small side, and the walls between rooms are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbors. Breakfast was okay but fairly basic, nothing particularly memorable. Overall, I found the hotel somewhat overpriced, but it seems to be one of the better options available when staying in Aabenraa."
