"This is the most beautiful old hotel right in the old city. I had a little trouble finding it as you have to pass through the barriers to get access to the old city. Looking at Google maps, I mistakenly thought access was on the main road. Hristo, the owner, had registered my car details so I was waved through the barrier with no problem. "All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's owner, Konstantin Kostov, was particularly impressive. Always there, it seemed, and he also gave an excellent talk about the Roman baths underneath the hotel. Whatever I asked of him, he always went the extra yard. Any criticism?
