I rarely leave reviews, but this was by far the most disappointing hotel experience I’ve ever had.
The room itself was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. From the moment we checked in, it was clear the property is not being kept to any reasonable standard. Fixtures were worn, the space felt neglected, and overall it did not reflect what you would expect from an all inclusive property.
The situation with reservations made things significantly worse. We contacted the hotel immediately after realizing that one guest would not be able to arrive and therefore would not be using any of the all inclusive benefits. Despite reaching out right away, the reservations team was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to adjust the total or offer even a partial refund for five days of unused services. This level of inflexibility is unacceptable, especially when every other 4 to 5 star all inclusive hotel we have stayed at has been able to handle similar situations with basic customer care and professionalism.
The property overall felt very poorly managed. There was ongoing construction without proper safety measures in place, creating both constant disturbance and real safety concerns. On top of that, we experienced a serious issue where there was a sharp piece of glass in a salad, which is completely unacceptable and dangerous.
Between the outdated conditions, unprofessional management, lack of customer support from reservations, and safety issues, this stay was poor.
