"Lovely family-style hotel - no fight for the sunbeds, great sized pool, lovely poolside bar area serving tasty food, clean rooms with frequent bedding and towel changes. They also helped us with taxis and car hire - all at very reasonable prices. Also a nice walk to Gouvia or the marina."

"We stayed at Folies for 2 nights before our flight home. We arrived at the hotel early so our room wasn’t ready yet but a lovely receptionist let us park , leave our luggage in reception and use the facilities and she let us know when our room was ready. All the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Our room was clean, modern and well equipped with a kitchenette and a patio area overlooking greenery and a pond. "The room was not how it was pictured in Expedia. They 2 rooms; 1 looks great in the picture with exposed bricks and good decor and we booked based on these pictures. But what we got instead was the other room which was dinghy and had rusted chair and ugly decor for the same price. Please make sure you get the right room when you get this property.
