"The Sportslander is just what I expected, an older motel that had all the basics covered. The room was older style, clean and on the end of a 10 day straight run of over 40 deg temps the pool and aircon did the job, the bed was comfy, there was no noise and had a good night sleep. For a budget one night stay, it did the job very well. "

Washing machine/dryer in bathroom, everything you need in the kitchen & great air con in both the bedroom and living area. Walking distance to the Main Street & a plethora of great pubs (The American is across the road). You really don’t need a car to get around town from this location. 10/10"

"When we booked this place we were expecting from the description on expedia a hotel in a resort with all the facilities described. Unfortunately for us it was a suburban 2 bed unit nothing like the description. The property needs maintenance and a good clean. Some lights not working blinds were disgusting tiny bathroom cobwebs everywhere and many crawling insects. Unable to get local tv stations. Extremely disappointed for the money we paid. "Low cost value for money. Rooms with twin beds available. Will continue to book when passing through Shepparton. Freshly painted throughout. Rooms are small. Glass doors open onto well maintained lawn area with pool beind. Do miss the microwave. "

"We stayed on a Saturday and the office closed at 5pm. There was an issue with the TV sound. I rang the motel number to get assistance but was put through to a call service. No-one bothered to ring me back so I had to sit on the end of the bed as I could barely hear the TV. The drinking glasses in the cupboard were not cleaned properly ( they had lip marks on them). The room was very small compared to every other Mantra I’ve stayed at. No counter to put your bag on in the bathroom. The towels...
