"We were looking for a more traditional Japenese experience whilst also wanting to see the Snow Monkeys and this place did not disappoint! Free shuttle from the station to the hotel and we were greeted by very lovely staff members who gave us really useful info on the hotel and the onsen’s within the village. "Very nice accommodations and very good value. The rooms are in need of a refresh, but extremely functional. Our only improvement would be the food variety. We stayed for one week, which is probably unusual for most guests so we tired of the same food day after day. There is great variety, but the same ever day. As an example, for fruit it's apple, banana and pineapples every breakfast varying with other fruits every other day would be a welcome change. Same with eggs, bread selections."
