Nice location, good pools, nice beach. Good and fresh drinks at bars. Especially good service at Main Bar next to the pool. Buffet is low standard for lunch and dinner. From a 5 star resort one would expect significantly higher standard-no variety, not good display and not tasty. Specialty restaurants were nice and tasty.

Pleasant and well-managed hotel

A pleasant and well-managed hotel experience We had an enjoyable stay at Mitsis Ramira Beach. The hotel is well-maintained, the room was spotless with very comfortable beds, and housekeeping was consistently great. The staff were courteous and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. The pool areas are beautifully designed, and the water slides were a highlight for our children. The food was both varied and of good quality, catering well to different tastes. There is, however, room for improvement in service efficiency. Empty glasses around the chess pool area were not always cleared promptly, and during lunch and dinner, drink refills often involved long waiting times. Introducing self-service stations for soft drinks and water would enhance the overall dining experience. Overall, a very positive stay, and we would gladly consider returning.

Good hotel overall. Staff obviously overworked and there isn’t enough. Ordering drinks takes a long time and queues at dinner in particular. A la carte restuarants are better than buffet, but again very slow service. A couple of very good staff, and the rest seem like they haven’t been here much. Pool bar staff and cleaners are real positive. I would recommend.

The hotel is ready great and all the staff are really nice and friendly. Good selection of drinks and food. Rooms are dated but still nice. Swimming pools are great. Beach is not great stones and sea was always very rough.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, the staff are amazing so helpful, happy and go out of their way to make your holiday special. Afroditi the manager on the front desk went out of her way to assist us she is fantastic we can’t thank her enough what a lovely lady. Food and drink excellent and the evening entertainment was the best we have seen out of all the Mitsis Hotels, The Jersey Tones and the Golden Tones from Meds Entertainment were fantastic their voices ere amazing they certainly know how to put on a great show. The manager of the hotel must be really proud of all his staff as the service they offer is 1st Class better than all the Mitsis luxury hotels we have stayed at.

I have have stayed at Mitsis a few times and have always loved it. Ramira beach is nice and service is generally good (better in the bar than in the main restaurant) unfortunately the main restaurant is too small for the hotel and feels stressfull and the entertainment and the size of the area to watch it is not great and in my opinion is not in line with the Mitsis brand. Saying that for the price its a good entry level hotel Mitsis option but if you have been to others dont expect the same kind of luxury the other hotels offer.

Rooms dated, view from none Garden rooms isn’t pretty, speciality restaurants are in an extension of the main buffet restaurant (not really an issue but does take away from the speciality experience as have you walk through every other diner on the buffet), no extractor fans in bathroom, main pool beer deep (not great for kids), race for sunbeds every morning. Having said that, food was adequate, rooms were comfortable, staff were helpful, drinks were plentiful, beach was close, bars and creperie were good, pools were clean and not overcrowded!

Excellent. Service was top class at all times day and night, fantastic food in all 3 restaurants, 3 great pools and a lovely beach - hotel is impeccably clean but could do with a little updating/modernising in places now. If you don’t get a sunbed by 7am you don’t get one but I think that’s reflective of most hotels (even 5*) during peak season. Will definitely be considering Mitsis resorts when visiting Greece again

Very clean,excellent bar staff. Food graat quality but repetitive. Our room wasnt ready on our arrival and had multiple issues including a broken rear door, broken light, broken blind. Our room was also not cleaned one day. Maintenence people turned up unannounced.

Great property 30mins from airport in taxi around 50euros. Easy check in. They show you to your room so you don’t get lost. Welcome refreshing drink and flannel . Air con in room plenty of towels and fridge Well stocked. Bars have great selection staff helpful and waiters always ask if you need a drink Shen you sit in bar or by pool. Buffet style restaurant has all you need for breakfast lunch and dinner. Book days in advance for the meat restaurant and the Italian restaurant which I preferred. Drinks and gyros & burgers on the beach which a quick 2 minute walk. Crepes and ice cream amazing too. Also on site next to gym and yoga Área and staff Amazing too. Definitely do a class or just a session. Food was really good staff really good even a tennis court, football Astro turf, and basketball court too which were all well kept.

Excellent stay at Mitsis Ramira Beach the staff are what make this hotel they can’t do enough for you to make your stay so enjoyable. Food was fabulous so much choice in the main restaurant and also the a la carte restaurants were great. Drinks were amazing especially the Cocktails and even my Gordon’s Gin & Tonic, never had to wait long to be served as soon as the glasses were empty they asked if you would like another. The hotel is so clean our room was kept spotless our family rooms with Private Pool was superb special thanks to Aphrodite for the upgrade being a Gold Member this was very much appreciated. Special thanks also to Antonia our waitress at breakfast such a lovely girl so happy to serve you always with a smile she works so hard she is a credit to the hotel. Evening entertainment was best on the nights when The Jersey Tones and The Drifters were on great to see that Mitsis have Meds Entertainment back again they are brilliant and what you expect from a 5 star Hotel. Thank you Mitsis Ramira Beach for a great holiday and we will definitely return.

Excellent all-inclusive resort!

What a terrific place to stay! We were here for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was lovely, facing the sea. Perfect for morning coffee and an afternoon glass of wine. The food was plentiful and fresh. We especially enjoyed being greeted by Ersida every time we went into dine. She is such a sweet and friendly young woman. Christina was our cocktail waitress for our after-dinner digestif and was outstanding! The head of housekeeping, Linda, was also very helpful. All of the staff were friendly and courteous. We took a 43€ taxi from the airport and paid 52€ for the shuttle back. We also rented a car right at the resort for two days so we could explore the island- well worth it. You can visit the other Mitsis properties; but we think Ramira Beach is the best! We’d definitely like to return someday.

Great bang for the buck!

The resort had a nice overall feel. The all inclusive is great especially when you’re there with your family. I loved the fact that there was a nice little cafe on the outside grounds of the resort as well as a cafe on the beach. It made it very easy to stop by for a bite or a drink no matter where you were in the resort. The resort has a nice specious pool and the beach was big enough to find a spot to sit. The water at the beach is a little choppy but the kids seemed to enjoy the waves. The proximity to Kos town was great! It literally was a five minute drive! The rooms were a bit tight but house keeping did a great job at keeping things neat and clean.. I loved the balcony which was furnished with chairs and a table. Great for relaxing in the evening!! I definitely, would recommend the resort for families.. Another great thing is that you can use the other Mitsis facilities on the other side of the island as long as you show proof that your staying with there sister resort. In addition you can also eat at there all inclusive cafes as long as you have your bracelets on.

Horrible staff service

The hotel by itself is good, location is amazing and Greece is beautiful, but the staffs are completely impolite, not prepared to deal or serve people. On my first day checking in, the receptionist felt free enough to make a “joke” with me and my wife saying that because where we are from, it would be probably the first time we use one wristbands of all inclusive hotel, which I felt ridiculous joke. This ain’t first all inclusive hotel we stayed and it’s so far to be the best one! On my first night sleeping at the hotel, I woke up with 2 housekeepers screaming “joking to each other” in front of my room at 8am. I went to complain at reception and she said it’s “strange” this happened but she will check. Also, as the hotel is all inclusive and has many places to eat and drink or have snacks, we couldn’t find any information about times and locations for enjoying it, so we had to walk around and ask everyone and being answered in a rude way as we were supposed to know already, then we missed many meals because when we arrived it was closing already, as there wasn’t information at all at reception or in the room. Also, they had 2 good restaurants options which we couldn’t access or enjoy because apparently we were supposed to book it within 3 days in advance to access it and our stay was 3 nights, and one more time, nobody told us about that. Very poor staff service! Do not recommend and surely not coming back in our Kos trip again.

Very guest friendly staff. Always smiling and doing their best to give a good service. The hotel has a pebble beach, which is not very handy when you are with children. Furthermore, we were not very happy with the diner buffet. However, the ala cart dining option (Italian) was good. The weather is very nice (not to hot in the summer) and the sea is very clean.

Not a 5* hotel in any way

This hotel is advertised as a 5* hotel, it is far from it, more like a 2* or maybe 3* at a push, It is full of package holiday guests on an all inclusive eating and drinking session, The pool is super salty, moreso than the sea, The bar service is awful - we waited over 15 minutes for one drink The restaurant is so overcrowded It took over 2 hours to check in and get our rooms, only to find the twin was a double and that took another hour to fix The bathrooms were mouldy and were not cleaned very well. It would have been a good hotel one day before the package holiday companies took it over, now it's just overcrowded and I would not recommend it!
