Hotel Dekat Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge

"We truly enjoyed our time staying at the teepee on the property. It's located at the back of the property and it is peaceful. The bed was comfortable and was clean inside. There was also a table and futon couch and microwave/fridge. A few things to note: There is a small airport across the road and we heard a plane flying very nearby at night which we wouldn't have expected. Also there are trains which pass and sound their horns. It's not loud but I heard it while my wife completely slept...

"Very nice log motel, the couple that run it are great, quiet, homey feel, nice king bed, nice breakfast. We checked in very late, like 12:30 am, we should have called them earlier and warned them, they live on the property. We booked though Expedia so they didn’t have a phone number to call us and make sure we were still coming so they had to stay up and wait for us. So sorry. But they were extremely nice about it. "This is a poorly maintained old property. Insufficient electrical outlets. Takes forever to get hot water and difficult to keep it adjusted. Shower was barely big enough to stand in it and water was barely more than a drizzle. Light bulb not working. Free breakfast was advertised but not provided.Three nights stay with no housekeeping of any kind. Will never return."
