"We really enjoyed our stay at the Tarna. Decent breakfast spread without being overly fancy. The free shuttle to and from town (and to and from the ferry) was greatly appreciated. The onsite dive school was excellent and we had great dives with them. The fact that their equipment is in great condition and they have their own traning pool at the hotel were big pluses. We had a room with its own pool, which we really enjoyed - But be aware that these rooms are all facing onto the construction site...

Favourite beach was Sai Daeng. Pure coral beach and amazing snorkelling. I recommend Coral View Resort for 2/3 nights. Also Bubble Bungalow was ace at £28/night, easy access to Shark Bay and John Suwan viewpoint then chill in balcony hammock at end.
