"decent aparthotel, not sure it's much better than regular hotel suites in the area due to lack of basic amenities like salt/pepper and regular dishwashing soap and shampoo (but brush and sponge are provided incidentally). One dishwasher pod is provided for your entire stay and the limited coffee pods for the proprietary machine are not replenished and cannot be purchased at any local store. "It was due to the other positive reviews that I found this Allegra Hotel. The hotel is nice, clean, affordable and conveniently close to the train station to go to Zurich, to the Lindt Home of Chocolate! The bus is a 3 min walk from the hotel and a 15 min ride to the airport. The staff is very helpful and personable, especially Noelle, Florenza and Manuela. The room is nice, clean and spacious, and the bed very comfortable. Kettle in our room for instant coffee or tea, there is also an expresso machine down in the lobby which is a welcome addition! We had delicious pizzas at Giadiono within waking distance of the hotel. Overall we really enjoyed our 2 nights at Allegra Lodge and highly recommend this place."
