"Took almost 2 hours to get to property as taxi boats did not arrive due to ‘low tide’. All other hotels in the area managed, so we had to pay to go on a neighbouring hotels boat. Staff at the port were very unhelpful and rude. Key note is that you have to get a taxi boat to and from the hotel, otherwise it is 40minute walk in difficult conditions. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no offer to carry the bags. Hotel room was very dated and bathroom in particular was not clean. No pool or loungers at the property. "

"The bed was as hard as the concrete floor. We ended up getting a mattress topper and 4 comforters just to make it useable. The internet was spotty at best. And then there was the thumping of music till 4am. We actually left a day early because we couldn't take it anymore."

"We had a very nice stay at the resort on Phi Phi. The location is beautiful – peaceful, with an amazing beach and great views. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere around the resort was very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and the surroundings made the whole experience feel very tropical and relaxing. Overall, it was a great place to stay while visiting Phi Phi and we really enjoyed our time there."

"Needs grounds improvement between the main pool and the beach. Beds are too hard. Cannot sleep on a very hard mattress with no give. Staff are very friendly and property is well cared for, with great access to the alleys and pathways right beside reception."

"Room was ok. The staff were nice. They food at the restaurant was very basic and the portions were very small. Service was really slow many times waiting 20 plus minutes for the food to arrive. Restaurant area is very unattractive. This would not be such an issue if there were any other options for dinning out but you need to take a boat to town to have any other eating options and the last boat back to the resort is at 4:30 so you don't have any options but to be stuck eating at their restaurant. I'm sure that they plan it that way so everyone is stuck eating there. Food is overpriced for the portion sizes. I would not recommend staying at this location."

"This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. The room had a very strong moldy smell that was impossible to ignore and made it uncomfortable to stay in the room for long periods. For a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star property, this is completely unacceptable. Even more concerning was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower, bathtub, and toilet were visibly dirty and clearly had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard before our arrival. Hygiene is the most basic expectation in any hotel, and certainly in one claiming a 5-star rating. The overall condition of the hotel feels extremely outdated and poorly maintained. While this property may have deserved a 5-star rating many years ago, today it unfortunately does not even meet the standards of a typical 2-star hotel. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the cleanliness and maintenance issues urgently, because the current condition does not match the expectations set by the hotel’s advertised rating."
